Space guide

Can anyone point me to a decent guide on space combat in this game?  I'm planning to go Imperial on Bria if that makes a difference.

Also are there any pvp areas in space?  Can Rebs and Imps freely attack each other?

there are a lot of guides and FAQs in the stickes.

 

there is a PvP area called Deep Space where you are automatically PvP enabled when you enter. even freelancer pilots can join - they have to declare for one side before they enter. inside Deep Space you can find a Imperial Star Destroyer and a rebel space station (Freedom Station) that can be attacked an destroyed by opposing forces players too.
