Which nvidia card to get?

I have my choice of two cards, my wife can get them free from work - both brand new. I run Linux and OSX86 on an intel PC. I want the best performer out of the two, and I really now nothing about nvidia cards. Been using ATI cards for years now.
Which one is better? - I know they are both older cards, but they're free so it's all good.
Geforce FX5500 256MB DDR
Geforce 6200 256MB DDR
Both are AGP, and are from DiabloTech. They're cheap versions, but I just need something for now. I've read a few reviews and the FX5500 seems to be better, but the 6200 is the newer of the two.

You can compare video card specs side by side. Here is the FX5500 and the 6200 compared side by side at GPUreview.com.
The 6200 has the edge with better statistics. Forget the user ratings area and look at the "at a glance" and "details" section for the cards real performance stats.
