Not sure what you're trying to say. But from those fragmented thoughts, I gather that you are hearing a lot of people call AoC a WoW clone? If thats what you are trying to say, then tell them I said "NO!"

-Half-life is a clone of Doom because they have guns in a 1st person view?
-Company of heroes is a clone of Starcraft because you can use the mouse to move units?
On topic now.... AoC is not a clone, as I stated above its a game in the MMO genre and such will share traits of ALL MMO games.
Now, I'm not much into AoC in the first place ( Just saw the Conan movies and, well, that was cool, looong ago )
However, I'm curious... Last time I looked at the word 'clone' is a game who's heavily inspired by another game.
Compare Commando, Ikari Warriors and Dogs of War for example..
WoW has taken PARTS of EQ/UO/DAoC (As WoW just doesn't look like UO whatever you try to say)
and enhanced them.
Sure this makes thosep arts a clone, but the composition is a full fledged original.
(Compare wheel + storage + seatingplace + engine doesn't make a "Horse Clone", it makes a "car")
So how does WoW "cloning" parts of other games and putting them together invalidate WoW as being the original clone of AoC? (assuming it even is)
Played so far: 9Dragons, AO, AC, AC2, CoX, DAoC, DF, DnL, DR, DDO, Ent, EvE, EQ, EQ2, FoMK, FFO, Fury, GW, HG:L, HZ, L1, L2, M59, MU, NC1, NC2, PS, PT, R:O, RF:O, RYL, Ryzom, SL, SB, SW:G, TR, TCoS, MX:O, UO, VG, WAR, WoW...
It all sucked.
Well this has all come about due to the Hype remarks. Someone stated AoC was a WoW clone. I couldn't understand where they saw WoW in AoC that they don't see in any other mmo. This just happens to be a mmo bringing Robert E. Howards true conan vision to the mmo world. Been reading the short stories on conan from the original creator and they are rather interesting and good reads. Im not really into reading books but these stories are great.
No game is a clone of no game that just like saying Burger King is a clone of McDonalds. The deal is just that company took a little from that game and tried to make it better sometimes it work and sometimes it don't its just like WOW when it took a little from DAOC PVP system and tried to make it pvp but it didn't turn out so well and is still hot trash.

The guy who posted this also posted something else on his fav game warhammer, take a look for yourself. You see that type of fan doesn't like comparisons made about WoW and his own game so they have to make lame comments just like that. The fact is war will appeal to fans of WoW more in my opinion for obvious reasons.

And to the OP. Someone says every single game in existence is a WoW clone almost every day. Hell, I'm sure you can find a statement that PotBS is a WoW clone, or that Chronicles of Spellborn is a WoW clone, or hell even that EVE is a WoW clone. Someone's always going to say it.

I was pointing out that the flamer was retarded too like the OP asked why. So many people compare war to WoW im sure the OP just wrote that AoC is a WoW copy out of spite, it looked pretty obvious to me.
There are bad apples all over I wasn't trying to say this was one sided or anything, It was the OP who singled out the poster.

agreed it seems that the old school DAoC EQ1 and UO gamers are a dying breed.
Lets get this straight- AoC will have player cities- does WoW have that? Does WoW have a Mature rating and nudity as well as heads and arms being chopped off? Do you go to hell when you use to much magic?
The guy wrote original said AoC was a WoW copy in the "Hype section" posts, when and praised war right after. The thing is silly remarks like this happen on both sides.

Yeah please dont read the Title of the topic and read the first post. I just used WoW copy to lure you in to this and figure out why people are calling this a WoW clone when it is not even near or close to that.
