Is anyone finding that there number next to the star rank in the account setting at mmorpg is going down? mine seems to be and i am not sure whether this is good or not

    Ranks can go down as they are based *only* on the past 30 days.  You can to stay active to keep a high rank, not just have been active once upon a time image

    I went up to elite with rank of 92 or so with just normal posting, not spamming or anything, but suddenly it started to go down even if I didn't post less or shorter posts or anything, so doubt it's 30 days when you have been registered less than 30 days since then I would have 0 posts or online time most days but my rank still went up alot..

    Also note that 40/100 points are related to how many days you login.  A perfect score (40) for this portion requires 28 login days in the past 30 days image

    Yes, the auto login passes through the same authentication process as a manual login...and it gets logged as well. image

    sometimes the 30 day period is frustrated... the next month i'm not at home and so my state for the next 2 months is going down against 0. *seufz*

    Karaha - it is a double edged sword though.

    On the positive side, we have geared the rating system so that achieving a 5 star rank has to be reasonable in a 30 day period.  Whereas most sites only allow you to achive thier highest ranking after many months at a site.

    We do it this way because it shows who is currently busy at our site.

    However, we are planning on adding some features that will reward long time members with some "base" rank image

    I've been active, yet mine went down overnight, why?

    Post deletion may also play a factor in the loss of Rank.
