Looking for a game that my crap PC can play.

So I have a good PC that is top of the line.

However...

I also have a crappy computer that is bottom of the line, filth.

Computer Specs...

OS:  Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600)

Processor:  Intel Celeron ~590 MHz

Memerory: 510 RAM

Graphics Card: Intel 82810, 32 MB

So there you go the key spec of my computer. Does anyone know any games that can play on this? I'll highlight the crappy spot of my computer for you...

590 MHz

Yeah. So... Any MMORPGS?

I thought you needed a 800 mhz processor to run Windows XP.

You should play Runescape, its the best game in the world with 4 million subscribers.

Nice... I chuckle at the 5 Million subscriber claim as there is only about 50..? member servers. each of those servers is capped at 2k players but I would say it averages to 1k each. 50k=/=4Million.

I don't even know if Vanguard would run on my top line computer (because of the bugs) nevermind my crap computer.

Dofus (http://www.dofus.com)? For a 600 mhz box, that's about the only thing I can think of. Even Ragnarok Online would choke on that thing. Don't feel too bad, it wasn't that long ago that I was at that point

Actually I played Ragnarok on that computer before I got a new PC. I don't really feel like paying for either UO or Ragnarok.

    EQ1 or Asheron's Call.

I would say that Asheron's Call is EASILY the best mmo you can put onto that computer, but if you haven't played AC, why don't you judge for yourself with a FREE trial of AC??

Click HERE for a FREE 14 day trial of ASHERON'S CALL!

Have fun with whatever you decide!

I'm not sure but i think that rig could be used for playing rubies of eventide.... don't hold it against me if you can't though

Five hundred and ninety megahertz...? On a Celeron? For reals? I was going to say Anarchy Online 'cause it won't matter what your rig is since it appears to achieve the same framerates regardless but 590 might not cut it.

Ditto on Rubies. It might work, with graphics options toggled down?

Maybe classic Dransik would work though. I think thats free. I kind of felt like they sapped everything I really enjoyed about it out at some point but you might like it coming to it fresh.

    Rubies... Does it have PvP?

    MUD!

  • TsollessTsolless Member Posts: 448

Closest I would do for that would be Kingdom of Loathing. UO looks good but it's definitely NOT a pay game. Of course... I can't talk about that here.

MapleStory, Mu Online, the Realm Online. It might be able to handle UO. Just curious, if you have a better computer then why not use that one?

In the end, logic and reason always beat out fanboys.

In all seriousness.  Dofus is probably the best game you can play.  Its probably the best 2D Isometric MMO out there.  Its very feature rich.

That depends on your server selection. I played this game for a short period before i picked up wow and i know that the Halberd server is always pvp enabled. The others are optional.  For more information about ROE visit this link mate.
