I've always wanted to try swg but im a lazy dude, but i finally downloaded it...im patching it now...but is there anyway to just download the most recent patch straight, and not this 8hour patching?
Im also planning on checking out a bounty hunter...wanted to try smuggler but i heard smuggling is broken or something. are bh's fun?

Well if you're trying the 14 day trial as I am I think that "patching" is getting every single file since you have nothing on the computer.
I also wish to know how BH's are. From what I've seen it says that they're challenging to being with but i would like to hear some more about them.
Bounty Hunter can be alot of fun. If you decide to participate in Player BH'ing then it can be a bit of a challange as you pretty much have to learn how every profession works and how to counter their attacks. Can be well worth it when you're collecting a 2mil bounty tho
With Chapter 6 I added Beast Master abilities onto my BH and am having alot of fun with that. Throwing a pet into a mix confuses most people lol.
Any advice for a noob who is thinking of being a BH doing the 14th day free trial?
Just the same for any other profession that's at the same point. Work on gaining your levels and improving your gear as you can.
