Hey, is this game free to download or free to play under the asian server? I saw GE selling in shops and it says 180days of freeplay?

Thats the Sword of the New Worlds version for the US localization. Personally, I wouldn't get it. The company hosting the localization is horrible. The sheer butchering they did to the game is tremendous.

I've played both versions to lvl 50+. The K2N is NOT butchered. Yea they took out the silly little snowman that drops a npc sell item, and they let players choose some of the character clothing options at the start of the game. Other than that it is basicaly the same game. I have found K2N to be very responsive both on the forums, (Mel the mod is awesome) and with tickets. I would not let K2N be a deciding factor in which version to play. But, if you play the Sword version you will have a much better English community... one not hostile to western players.

Unfortunetly, its halfway across the world. So the lag will be bad.
You forget that the K2 version has gamebreaking bugs, including one where half the time when you talk to the Musketeer Stance book seller you would black screen; and the main quest arc is halted at level 24. Not to mention its all cause to add a program that makes it so you cannot do stuff in the background while playing GE, and implementing a grind that is worse then the other versions. Ontop of this the costume system locks your look for 100 levels until you can do high-level raiding.
I played that server and the lag is not bad. (wonders if Cleffy actually played)
I mean worse. It doesn't matter how great your servers are; when the signal has to travel halfway across the world, there will be latency. Latency can be a very deciding factor in PVP type scenarios.
