Promotion Code - Warhammer Online

Well I've signed up for the Warhammer Online Closed BETA and I've been checking my inbox everyday (which isn't normal for me). I think that a promothion code will increase my chances of getting in, I've looked all over MMORPG.com which usually has promotion codes but I couldn't find one... I was hoping someone will be able to tell me where to find a promotion code for Warhammer Online closed BETA (North American BETA center).

I couldn't find a forum for 'Closed BETA Games' so if there is could a Mod please move my thread

Why on Earth would we need a "Closed beta forum"? It would be the most boring forum ever.

    Post 1:

    "I got into ????game"

    Post 2:

    "Cool what is it like?"

    Post 3:

    "It's like such and such"

    Post 4:

"Breach of NDA, get out of the beta."

There isn't anywhere to get them unless you win them in competitions, just wait for an invite and if you don't get one tough luck.

If you have been a long-time member of the WAR newsletter, you automatically get a promo code added to your account(for the newsletter) which gives you a better chance at getting in.

the Promotion Code bit is for a code you get at game events where mythic and WAR are at. Like games day and such.

The people that attended those events got a special 'beta' code that they enter into that section....

There will probably be more use for it later as well..... maybe..

I would suggest joining an active guild..

I think it really improves your chances.

not really....its called PATIENCE. when they are ready to open the doors for beta then they will pick who comes in.

I don't think joining a guild would increase your chances.

At the various Games Workshop Games Day events, Mythic was handing these out (as well as at GenCon 2007 and the Leipzig Games Conference).  What they did was give priority to the promotional code holders over the rest of the non-promo holders.  By priority, I mean, the next time they pick beta testers, they go through the priority people first, then once they've gone through all those with priority, they then pick from the non-priority people.

(Speculation follows)  I'm going to assume that they pick from priority based on when the promo code was entered, and non-priority is based on when they signed up (with some differences, like if they need a certain setup of computer running the game or something).
