Well I recently took my 2nd crack at EVE. I must say it is a amazing game I love it but could not continue to play. There is so much to EVE I feel I never even scratched the surface. Unfortunately there is no way I can continue to play as it seam's(and this is just my opinion) that it takes a huge time commitment. Not a mmo you can just pick up and put down. With that said if you have the time I highly recommend this game it is truly years ahead of other title's I wish I could continue to play. 5 star's from me I choose friend

If there is a game that is casual game friendly then it's EVE. I got family and little time for EVE atm, and my characters still train on while I can't attend to the game, and it is no problem if I go for a 3 week vacation. Additionally there are no problems if an experienced character want to join together for a gang with an inexperienced one, since there are no arbitary level restrictions.
It is entirely up to you how much time you invest in EVE. Admittedly you get more resources if you play more often, but if you don't have that much time to play you won't need that much.

Yeah I like to commit alot of time, and this game has no problem absorbing it. Again as iI said before it's a great game. Theres just soooo much to it. I will eventually pick it up again.
Very deep game but it only has it's fun playable in spurts. You are usually working for something and then once in a while you'll have something exciting happen. This is the one downside of the game-play and it is what keeps me from buying it.
I would say EVE is very casual game friendly. I got kids wife and own business to hold on to and I manage to enjoy EVE.
I been doing alot of stuff ingame this years like, helping others to create chars to help people to fitt out there ship for PvP.
I would say it casual and O and I can in eve what I cant do in another mmorpg play with newcommers.
I been in EVE O from Beta and I realy recommend people play EVE even if they only got some hours each day.
