Any good java based mmorpg's that are free?

Hey people,

My friend recently told me about puzzle pirates and I really liked it. The only thing that annoys me is the trial account expires after 10 logins and you have restricted features. The only way to solve this is to pay for it and I'm in Australia and $10USD a month is just not worth it.

I also like the option of not having to actually install it as this means i can play it at school. So is there any other games out there that are free and that are as good as puzzle pirates. It doesn't have to have a pirate theme just some sort of online game being able to interact with others.
