Whats better?

I was wondering what game you guys thought was better.. guild wars.. or WoW.. i have heard some awesome things about WoW.. but it got a lower rating and it requires monthly fees.  

from what i know of it .. so far guildwars is looking better to me.. but i wanted your opinions.

I have not voted, because they are both different games, but both good.

 

Guild Wars: is not an MMORPG. It is multi player zoning game (everything is in a zone and outside of the cities you are alone with your team, you can't meet other players). Imho graphics are better than Wow

Wow: is an MMORPG with great game play for the mass market. It's up to you if you like the graphics or not (and the graphics are getting dated too). Get the trial to make your mind.

i didn't vote either, i agree it is different games. It really depends on what you like to do. WoW gets boring after all the instant raiding thing.

Guildwar has a lot of pvp in it, and balanced classes.

Yes. And Guild Wars is also "story" driven. You follow a story from the beginning to the end of the Pve game. Once you are finished with the PvE you can continue to play with the instanced PvP.

Please see above posters, two different games, try the trials of each and make your own educated decision.

Do what I do.. Play both Since GW is free, I get on it occasionally, and I play WoW mostly now. It works out nicely

I can just agree with the rest. I didn't vote because I think the games aren't really comparable. It all depends on what you enjoy and so on.
