So wait, about avatar customization

One one screen shot it has a picture of a girl...and then the avatar looked just like her. Does this mean you can scan a picture of yourself and the game will make it look like you? Or was the screen shot basically just showing how you can actually make your char look like you. It was just kinda confusing, cause i think being able to scan a photo would be pretty sweet.

No, you cannot scan your picture in. But the tools provided for customization allow you to make your avatar look like just about anyone you want.
