the dev couldn't even keep his character alive during the demo, kept getting killed.

Either he just sucks, or, the "new innovative" combat system is a joke and poorly implemented

I think the developer wasnt actually trying to show us how ubber he is, he was plowing through mobs to show us the camp, and he did mention that stradegy is needed to defeat the mobs in the camp. So instead of him taking alot of time to use stradegy he used the cheat to just rush in there and show us the camp.

 

That was a pretty nice video I thought, it explained quite a few things.  The graphics look pretty impressive I just hope that the caster classes aren't overpowered, but they tend to be in almost all MMOs. I think the combat looks interesting but I would love to get my hands in the game to really judge it, but in theory it sounds cool and very different from your typical "queue actions" /wait fighting style.
