Good game... worth checking it out
I've played quite a bit of MMORPGs and MMOGs in the last few years. Some I've merely sampled and some I've invested a lot of money and time in. In the last few weeks, I've been looking for a good F2P MMO. I downloaded tons of them and tested them a few days each. Some were horrid, others were entertaining; but, this one beats them all, hands down. I downloaded this game just a few days ago... and I am hooked. The general gameplay most closely reminds me of guild wars (except you can jump! and the world isn't instanced!). The world seems fairly large, supports WASD and point-and-click movement, tons of pets and mounts, gathering and crafting professions, very in-depth character customization....
I guess what I'm trying to say is... I do enjoy this game. I highly recommend trying it if you are in the market for a new MMO.

Wow, good to have people confirm that the game is good. I'm just curious, since you played the game, have you seen any fashi with broadsword that requires con/int? Cause I thought that I read that fashi can actually use them! If that's true, Fashi is so my first choice!
Can you give us a review, everybody who is playing hasn't really bothered to tell us anything besides the game being great (or they think it's ok). I'm drooling for details, as my computer has limited HDD space as it is, and I am better off waiting for the malaysian english version. Cheers!
All spellcasters classes in PW can wield 4 types of casting weapons: wand, magic sword, staff, and magic tool/ wheel. Each of those weapons have there own advantages and disadvantages. Mind that all these 4 weapons deal low physical damage.
Wands mostly have average minimum damage but low max damage. Their damage is quite consistent and have the lowest level and INT requirements. They also seem to have the highest casting speed of all.
Magic swords have average minimum damage and good maximum damage. Their casting speed is bit slower than wands.
Stalves have low minimum but high maximum damage. Their casting speed is the slowest also.
Magic tools/wheels have good minimum and maximum damage. They have about same casting speed as magic swords and are considered to have the highest level and INT requirements among them.
So if your a fashih, yuling, or yaojing take your pick which weapon suits you best.
I want to try out the game but the download file is huge. When it said 16 days to complete I decided to just stop it. Is it really worth the download or should I wait until the English version comes out?
If it is going to take 16 days to download i would probably wait for the English version as, it should be out soon, well hopefully.
This being said that you don't feel the urge to test the game before the English version is released.
16 days? took me a couple hours with the torrent file. Which download are you using?
if you are in US, I can send you a dvd Malaysian version with all update and English patch.
I'm using the torrent file. I'll just let it sit a day and see if that time changes.
