I remember playing my draenei and the awesome ending it had when i finished their starting land was great. But now playing EQ1 again and finished up the escape to norrath with other people that felt VERY epic has any one else played and finished escape to norrath?

When I tried to play the EQ1 trial I couldn't get over how slow combat was.  I had a monk previously, but I just couldn't get into the flow of only having one attack besides auto-attack.  It never felt epic in that game unless you could convince 70 people to come and kill a boss with you.

Thats because WoW has turned into a Theme Park.  You can see Stuffed Versions of Thrall and Stuff.  Then go to the gift shop and get some authentic Fishing Lure.  You can even participate in bumper boats with some Murloc.

WoW does have a very epic feel to it when you first start the game.

I first played as a Tauren Druid (actually it was my only character ever). I remember waling up to Thunder Bluff for the first time and just knowing that it was the best looking city in any MMO I had ever seen. Of course thats not true now, but it was back then.

On that note, however, Thunder Bluff is still one of my favorite cities (although not the best looking anymore) of any MMO. The atmosphere of it was just awesome.

    Eternally mine,

    So what is EQ then?

Its a poorly run museum that you have to pay alot of money to enter, and its usually infested with bums that you gotta beat up in order to see the exhibits.

WOW has an amazing feeling of a large hand crafted world, only problem is theres nothing to do once you hit end level but meaningless PVP. If it hand a player economy and player housing like SWG then i'd be playing it but it doesn't so im not lol.
