By the looks of these polls I'm going to need to find a server name with a strong Order overtone if i want to stand a chance in RvR.
Heheh.. don't worry about it Imix. Pre-release polls for WoW showed Hoard outnumbering the Alliance, but we all know how that turned out after release. Besides that, this isn't Mythic's first swing at the ball. They have a lot of RvR experience with DAoC (And there they had 3 realms to worry about, not just two like in WAR) & have reported that they have a lot of new ideas in place to hopefully help keep the sides balanced.
But honestly, I wouldn't expect Destruction to outnumber Order upon release, quite the opposite.

Empire Warrior Priest or Dwarf Engineer
I usually go melee in games ("brawl over brains"), but Goblin Shaman seems appealing to me too for some reason. I must have a thing for small/tiny characters... Chaos Chosen has - of course - struck my mind (how can you not find those looks appealing?), but I feel that I would somehow contribute more being able to heal/buff my "homies". Healers/buffers are always a welcome in any group which sort of compensates for the painstaking leveling one would have to do by playing such a vulnerable class solo. Plus, Warhammer Online will be a fresh start, so why not try something new and more challenging while I'm at it?
I'll probably be dabbing into a little bit of each race. I really like the style of the Orcs and Chaos but there's a lot of interesting classes for each race and that's definitely going to make me want to make multiple characters to try them all out.
I really want to know what classes the Dark Elves will have. There's about zero probability that I'll ever play as a High Elf (hate elves) unless they have some incredible melee class. I almost never play as a magic user in MMOs (usually a tank), but I have to say I'm really drawn to the Empire's Bright Wizard. The character design is just so different and cool in comparison to traditional mage classes. I initially had planned on playing a Zealot before they had revealed any specifics (they made mention of scare-crow totems, chains, feathers, skulls, daggers, etc, sounded cool), but now that they've revealed the final design for them, I really just think they look stupid.

im think of a dwarf iron breaker or a black orc but when i see the poll greenskins are whit much more

Chaos or Empire all the way! Stunties are good only at circus presentations (Slayers, you say? Why, they're just really fat hens with axes!), Orcs and Goblins are a bunch of spore-brained green paste cannon fodder, and all Elves are just pansy hippies, some are disturbed pansy hippies, and some tight-nosed pansy hippies.
still holding my breath to see what Elves they present to us. I was interested in the zealot, but I enjoy fighting against the odds, so dwarven runepriest or make a name for myself as a Priest of Sigmar
I'm waiting to see what the Elves look like, but I'm probably rolling a Chaos or Empire at this point.

You should have picked Greenskin instead of Orc or Goblin. They are both from the same mushroom spore anyway.

Ugh, how i hate dark elves. every fantasy game/book setting is mired in them. you cannot escape them, they're like rats: they're everywhere! Where are the mutants? Warhammer fantasy (i'm not familiar with 40K so i can't speak on that) tabletop has lots of mutants on the side of Chaos, yet they do not appear in the MMO unfortunately. Skaven have suffered the same treatment. Both would be much more interesting than done-to-death dark elves. Oh well, no game is perfect i suppose, and in spite of my disagreement with the dark elves, this should still be a damn good game

I plan on joining the side of Order, specifically the Empire. I will dedicate my life to Sigmar and rid the world of CHAOS!...

yeah but they said the horde was going to out number the alliance before WoW came out...but alliance out numbers them so maybe chaos wont be as popular lol

I always vote High Elf just because i know its going to get the least. We'll see how the polls look toward the end of this month when more Elf class information is released!

I'd think it would be cool to have more of the mutated chaos toons. They were always interesting. I'm not a warhammer expert, but I've read several of the dan abnett books.
I feel for the guy thats going skitzo over the abundance of dark elves. Personally...I still blame R.A. Salvatore for that...but I'm still gonna play a dark elf..come kill me if ya can find me!

Haha skitzo. Yeah that was a bit of a rant wasn't it? It's not that i hate dark elves per se, i think they're a cool race, i'm just tired of seeing them EVERYWHERE. And it seems that they've fallen into the 'everyone's playing them so i should too' mold. They're the 'in' race in fantasy these days. I don't blame Salvatore for em, back when he first wrote his books on them, they were pretty much unheard of.
And i definitely agree with the mutant comment. I wanna see more mutants, and apparently there's a class that takes them into account, so that's all well and good. See ya all at the sacking of Altdorf!
I just like the idea of dark elves...like elves..but not all...good.
Dark elves, in which ever fantasty setting always intrigued me..especially when you get a bad-good guy...or good-bad guy, etc and so on.
Its a refreshing change from paladins running in to save the day.
Nothing like an evil hero.
But I'll still start with a dark elf...then move on to something else when that bores me..mebbe a dwarf...I always say I'm gonna play one..but I never really do.
