    2 buddies of mine put their codes in:

    1. got a message like "congratulations, you have completed your application.  close the browser to begin playing"

    he closed the browser and nothing happened.

    2. the second dude got a message like "the worlds or Norrath eluded you"

    So i guess the first guy got in?  Magus how are they going to contact you? by whatver your e-maill address is at station.com?  i wonder if my friend got in?  that would rock.

    I am going to get a couple copies of this magazine!  nothing like buying your way into beta... ugg.

    APPLICANTS (People who applied through the online application) HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED YET!

    Not even Legends and Lord of Everquest people have been contact about when they get to play, only with a "Thanks for giving us more money, for that you get in beta... someday".

    Just wait!

    I just asked who got a valid key through the PCGamer offer, thats ALL!

    Well I'm 0/6 so far, thank god I get the mag wholesell otherwise I would have almost spent enough to buy EQ2 once it comes out for retal. ^^ I guess when you think about it the chances in this are really slim. Every market, software/hardware, gaming, and many other types of stores out there cary this mag. As well as everyone that has a subscription. And there are just 10k working keys out there.

    I just wonder how many ppl that are getting the mag will never even check to see if they have won... <sigh>

    i think i won...i did this Application a lot like the beta application and it said when i first did the thingy it said " Congratulations blah blah blah has smiled upno you and you are eligible for a spot in the Everquest 2 beta!" i filled out the form and got to a page asking for Account key. Does this mean i won????

    To me, that does sound like you won. I'm not too sure when beta testing starts and when the EQ2 client program will be released to those selected for testing. Although i'm anxious myself. I had no clue PC Gamer was giving away 10, 000 EQ2 beta slots. Thats intriguing. How long do you guys think beta testing will last for anyway? I mean, the game does come out in 4 months, they should do 2 months at least? Dont you think?

    Oh and for those selected for beta testing, do they receive the full game of EQ2 when its released? Or do we still have to purchase it? I'm fine either way, just a bit curious! image

    as i replied in another post, im in as well thanks to pcgamer.  hopefully we can hang in beta!

    i plan on testing a chars from each archetype, fighter, mage, priest and scout.
