Just a FYI for all of you retards spamming about Vaporware.

That being said. Darkfall has indeed been in development for a long time, they are creating something new and fresh that will revolutionize the industry. No beta yet you say? The devs themselves said there will not be a beta until it is equal to a final release minus a few small irons, not like these jokes of beta sent out like Archlord, Vanguard , LOTR.
The developer is NOT a no body, you just dont know them. They have done seriously impressive work for the Greek Special Forces along with numerous other projects, Im not going to hold your hand and show you, research it yourself.
Darkfall is poorly funded? You also need to research, they have so much money its stupid in fact they just came across a gigantic ammount of money. Look it up.

Most people who say its vaporware wont research it. They'll just go off of whatever they hear so i dont think this will get them to go research it.

I know, but at the same time, they arent going to take the time to research to prove me wrong. Either way, i know the truth and win=) Between the recent notice of allowance and huge influx of money, I sense beta gaining very close and a self publish
I could very well hold people's hands and give link and so forth, but will little work you could search the darkfall forums and see the information for yourself. Either way, the fact is there is no proof over vaporware except for great promises and a long development.....to me all that says it Good fricken game

You started the thread, telling us to stfu up etc etc. Show us some dam proof of your claims of its funding, and what they have done before etc etc.............
They are based out of Greece BTW, and their national defense projects are very very well known in that area of the world. Just because a company isnt based out of the US doesnt mean it isnt great. I dont know about you, but i am in the military, and would not for a moment want to put our special forces up against the greek special forces, it would be a equally bloody bloody battle for both sides

Im not sure if its special forces but its the greek military. From what ive heard they do some sort of simulations for them. They must be good, otherwise the government would just set up contracts with someone else.

Also what I dont understand, is how the OP believes a game company making sims has enough experience and knowledge to create not just a standard MMO, but a "revolutionary" MMO.

Show some actuall proof that they have done so called work for the greek special forces and military, and they have done sims for them. Show me proof of their funding. Show me actuall in game footage not over 1 years old, and not 10 seconds long. Show me proof its not vaporware after 6 years already. Show me proof of the work they have done before.

Making those simulations isnt like making pong. No one said making it was going to be easy. They seem to have enough knowledge to make a sim good enough for the military to use. im sure their skills arent limitied to just that.
Simulations have to be realistic right? right. Which means making a simple FPS wont really train them to well. So they have to have good programming skills to make a good program(in this case a simulation).Would you rather have someone with no sort of credit at all?
Apparently you've never used a military simulator. I have, i'm in the military. They ALL suck ass. No matter what branch or country you go to. Besides the fact I have yet to see proof that they even made one. So once again another person stating what would seem to be logical deductions that they come to claim as "facts". So just because they supposedly made a crappy simulator for the Greek military doesn't mean they have "experience" in ANYTHING.

Lol so people are talking about so called sims etc, rather than show prrof, always happens when people cant actually show actual evidence. Again show actuall proof they have done any sort of simulation project.
I played the best car sim ever ages ago, was called Daytona imba sim. Wana see proof of that go look up the sega Saturn console system.

Stop with the "Greek Special Forces" crap.... it just makes me think up all sorts of fun jokes that probably would not be appreciated.
The game is vaporware until the day they can field a credible demo to someone besides secret publishers, financiers and what not.
Until the day a large group of people can see and play the game (a la WAR if you need an example) its release is suspect and there isn't much anyone can say to convince most of us differently.
But why are you so wound up about it? You have faith that the game will come out soon and be great.... why the anger towards us who doubt...you should be so smug in your self knowledge you don't need to convince us lesser folks.....
