Join Now or Later? Which is the wiser?

Greetings and salutations Perfect Worlders,

    I recently stumbled upon Perfect World, and I've browsed through the forums and have become quite intrigued by what the game has to offer (or claims to offer.)  I've read about playing it with the English patch and also read about the up-and-coming English server(s).  But maybe you all can offer me some assistance with a question I have.

 

Should I join now and do all the configuring to make the game translated to English?  Or should I just wait and play the game when the English servers are unveiled?

 

Also, does anyone know a date, or around what time the English server(s) are supposed to be released?  Other than, "Soon," or "Around the corner."   I see  July 2007 on forums about the game, but it's almost the end of the month and still a bunch of, "Soons."

 

Maybe it's already been posted somewhere when the servers are going to be released, and I just haven't read it yet.  I thank you guys for any help you can offer me.

You should wait for the english version to come out, I think it's been said it will come out around the first week of august...

Does that also mean I should wait to register for the game?  Like, is there going to be a new site for the English game?  Or is www.cubizone.com still the place to go?

I debated this for a while but decided to DL the current version to test out the gameplay and try out the different classes (I was very anxious to play lol). I was happy I made that choice as there is no solid ETA for the English server and I've been able to try out all of the classes and get a feel for the game and I was able to judge from that if I felt it was a good game or not.

 

In conclusion, it depends on how anxious you are to play.

The fact is...no one really knows the date of release yet, except the moderators and admins themselves. One person had speculated on the  perfect world wiki that  it will be the first week of August, but thats just his opinion. He really doesnt know if its coming out any later or sooner than that.

Because it costs you nothing to try the game.  Consider this  one as a beta experience. You can fool around a bit to get familiar with the game , to see what class you like to play . Then when the Official English server come out , you can have a good start up.

Although the english server is going to  wipe character data after the beta (so I hear), so getting a "good start" might not matter much anyway.

Thanks everyone for your assistance in this matter.  Regardless of whether or not I join the game now or later, I hope to see some of you fellow English speakers in game.  It looks quite promising for a F2P type game, it might actually be a good one...And I know that, "Good," and "Free MMORPG" don't mesh well in the same sentence LOL.  Thanks again for the info and the resources you all offered to me.  Hope to see you soon in PW!

I am also not sure about char wipe after beta. But still , the more experience you have , the better you will start up when everything goes real.
