hey, never played this game b 4 so... is there any skills such as mining or cooking or is it just plain old fighting? ty

No cooking, no crafting. Just fighting and everything that goes with it, including raising pets,etc...
Can't forget lots (well over 120) quests, Taming pets the arenas (recently added) player shops... fairly straight forward and similar to classic style "Table top gaming" (Dungeons & Dragons)
