mmo's that work like devil may cry?

this is hard to explain...but do u guys know any mmo that works like devil may cry?,  it doesn't have to be like it but u know i don't want it to be like warcraft where u just have to click on the monster kill it,   i want keep clicking the mouse to kill it lol

Its a martial arts game and I know it accepts a playstation 2 controller or xbox 360, or you can just play with the keyboard.

The only game that comes even close is monster hunter frontier and MAYBE age of conan, unfortunately they are both not released here.  Monster hunters only in beta at japan age of conan is gonna be released at the end of the year probably..

Saint.. if you have a problem with the moderation on the site, it's best to PM someone in charge instead of constantly posting that there is something corrupt on the site.  Perhaps then you could actually understand why your thread was deleted instead of jumping to conclusions.

Also Saint you lose ranking for not logging in and also contributing by posting, from time to time aswell. So that could be why you dropped in ranking.

Not to mention the fact that any posts that are deleted no longer count towards your post count or rating.  If any of those posts caused your rank to go up, then them being deleted will make your rank go down.

I had posts in the thread that were deleted, and I'm not worried about it one bit.  If you actually take part in discussion and don't warrant getting deletions then you will get your posts and rank up easily.

Actually, I saw your thread moderated last night down by about 2/3rds, and Taera explained why certain posts were removed.  Not sure what changed that made them remove the whole thread but I recommend you contact her for an explanation.  (but the short answer was that many posts had wandered way off the original, game related topic)

As to your rating, yeah, getting a post removed really affect it, and I suspect you had many  removed which really impacted it.

MMORPG.com is basically private property if you don't abide by their rules. They can remove you from their property. How is that hard to understand. Your freedoms don't mean shit here.

Anyway, OP I think the game you are looking for is Hellgate. It's a good game and is getting better. You can also play it for free, but you have to buy it. That's about the closest it's going to get to that kind of combat. Right down to the point of using a gun and sword at the same time kind of action.

This is not true, if you recall, the question was World of Warcraft versus Everquest II to which I supported World of Warcraft and expressed negative opinions about EQ2.  I got railed against called many names for saying negative things about EQ2.  If I'm not allowed to express my dissatisfaction for a game, this site is a lot more narrow-minded than it initially represents.  My thread posed an open ended question.  Yes, I had greivance, but was looking for solutions, not problems. 

My apologies for interrupting this thread, just wanted to let the original poster know this thread also may be shut down since the only reason why mine was appears to be because I mentioned the word "devil".  Mods have given me no other notification or reason as to why the 300 posts were deleted.  Unless someone has further things they'd like to address to me, I will certainly leave this thread to conduct its business as usual.

The problem is you were given solutions and you continued to ramble on.

You are also taking a Mod/Staff situation to other threads. This will get you BANNED. You need to e-mail the staff instead of spam your garbage in other threads. A long with breaking the rules by bringing a Mod situation here. You are also deturring the post from its original topic, which is against the rules as well.

I'm not trying to be overly mean. I'm trying to save you from being banned out the ass. You see the problem is people help you and you don't take their advise. Same thing happened in the EQ2 thread. People helped you, but you continued to ramble on and for several other posts.

You seam to think your other thread was closed due to the word "devil". Well it was closed mainly because of the flamewar that started in it. Have you even read the rules?

Do you understand now? Read the big bold red. You made a religious based thread that turned into a flamewar. Therefor it got out of hand. Thus it was deleted. I'm not sure how much more of an explination you need.

Now before you say "Well this thread has devil in it!!!!11111one" you need to consider something. The thread topic is about a PRODUCT. Another game. It isn't referencing to the same thing your thread was. Do you understand this? They are 2 totally different things. In other words your thread had religious standing. This one. Does NOT.

Saint your thread got removed ... end of story.  It had nothing to do with the use of the word devil or hell or 666.   It had everthing to do with the flametastic posts that sprouted and probably to the fact it was reported as offensive by people who aren't Hard Core Christians.   Now your going to every thread with similiar words in the topic but have a completely different meaning and spouting your supposed warnings when actually its topic hijacking & trolling.  I hope you know people left and right have been reporting you all morning.  I won't be surprised if you end up banned for basically resorting to troll like levels.   Everyone lost points, everyone lost post counts and if your Elite status was based solely on the posts you lost thats why you lost your elite status. 

 

We're all here to talk about MMORPG games and why we hate some love some, hate others, and what'd we like to see done in some.  None of us are here to talk about religion, war, politics, race, or nationalism.   All of these topics are out of bounds and usually cause this sort of hubbub and result in thread removal and bannings.   Anyone with half a brain knows this even me when I made my own post to your thread.

 

Get over it and move on.

 

Onto topic at hand...sorry OP I haven't gotten a chance to read al the other posts but the closest game to a live action battle system is probably DDO.   I doubt it'll measure up to your Devil May Cry experience though.

You haven't given people any reason to believe you care about anything but trolling.  This isn't a sidewalk.  They can do whatever they want with their site.

I got this crazy idea!  How bout if you see something containing "devil" in it just don't use it or read it or play it?  Sound good?

There are things in life you can ignore and move on.  This is one of them.  Just because a person mentioned the word devil does not mean they will be banned.  As stated before your post got deleted because of all the crap it accumulated not.

 

To the OP:

If you want something like Devil May Cry you might want to look into Cabal Online.  There were some rumors about it coming to North America but seeing as I don't know where you're from it might just be available where you're at.  It featured over the top type action as Devil May Cry and it also had guns and swords and stuff.  Give it a look see.
