What about Transformer MMO

Just curious about any feedback on  a transformer MMO. Sounds like a cool idea not sure if it could fly though.

It could be done, and I mean no offense to the idea but why would you want one?

I mean, the movie was amazing for me personally, so was lotro though and I wasn't terribly excited about the mmo.

Diffrent storyline, but overall it would more than likely feature the same gameplay that we've been expirencing for the last few years of mmo's, and to some of us, its gotten really old. =(

Not that im Dissing the idea at all i loved the movie and i grew up on transformers but if i was to play such a MMO not only would it have to look good and at least start off with 2 factions Autobots and Decepticons.But for it to work for me as a PvP game [and considering the source material PvP is a given} it would have to have some new and interesting ideas one of which will have to be a lack of levels.

 

After all autobots dont change like that [no pun intended] the mos that would possabily happen is.

A. you get a new transform form ie. you started out as a transforming car and later changed to a transforming scorpion.

B. Technical upgrades like an upgrade to your claws [if you had them] from one metal for example to a harder one for example. Or perhaps an upgrade to your servos therfore making you a little faster in running/walking and perhaps gives you faster attacks [Excluding guns as they dont depend so much on servos]. And aas a final example a wepon upgrade such as a better laser foccusing crystall.

 

These arer MY ideas for such a MMO no levels but ability to altertransform mode and usefull upgrades asa stated in te examples. But it wont be enough i think such a MMO would need something else too a.......Feature X!!!!
