300,000 playing WAR beta

in Age of Conan: Unchained

300,000 people are beta testing WAR and the game is set to launch in 2008! Lotr and Vanguard had betas at least 6 months before start. Where are the AOC beta invites? Only three months to go before AOC launches isnt it about time?

    300,000 have signed up for Beta, but let me point out it's in Closed Beta right now, not Open.  I think there's only around 300 people who actually got into closed (my number's probably totally wrong), but it's nowhere near to even 10,000 people in beta right now.

    As for AoC I can't say, but I'd assume if the game is coming out without a beta test they'll have done some extreme testing themselves.  Maybe they just don't want people to play it till release :)

    well id like to know the figures of how many have signed up for the conan beta test i bet it is somwhere close to that figure anyway.

    And like the above post said the beta is going on and has been for a year.

    As i said already i asked a Developer whats about my beta spot since i won one. here is the answer:




    I'm glad you won! We will notify you when you can log in, but that won't be until the General beta starts. Right now we're in Technical beta which just involves the server being up for a few hours every month and hardly any gameplay testing outside what we specifically ask of our testers. Also, we can only let people in based on their computer profiles at this point.



    But hang in there, your time will come soon! =)




     
    OK, but the means SEVERAL HUNDRES had the CHANCE to test Age of Conan for about 60 hours if we assume that the servers are open for 20hours a month (several hours a month... sounds even less). But im sure not everyone tested it the whole time ! think about it? IS THAT MUCH? NO !
    And youre maybe talking about ''''Developer Beta''''' even WoW had it PLUS 11 month public (not open but for not blizzard staff)
    I had very high hopes but they are vanishing at the moment. Funcom did alot crap with AO (the game itself is great) and doesn't seem to care about the customers but money :(

    Right cause you gave money to funcom for aoc already? Did you pay for your beta spot? They dont owe you anything.
