Intel 82845G

loteknateloteknate Member Posts: 2

I have a Dell 2400 desktop. I upgraded a few things ( I have 1 gig RAM, 250 gig 7200 RPM hard drive) and it has a P4 2.4 GHz CPU. Bu it came with the integrated Intel (UN)Extreme Graphics 82845G chipset.  The 82845G sucks bigtime.  It has 64 meg RAM which it takes from the system RAM.

Anyone know if Dungeon Runners will work with the 82845G? And even if i will run, will it run without crashing all the time or have other weird errors...?

Thank you.

Does the PC have a AGP slot or PCI-express? I'm running it with a 6600GT 128MB and it works fine but only at lower resolutions. I can't imagine it with onboard graphics. It's free to try so why not give it a shot.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Windows® 2000/XP

    Intel® Pentium® III 800 MHz or equivalent

    256 MB RAM

    1 GB Available HDD Space

    ATI™ Radeon® 9500 or NVIDIA® FX 5200 series video card

    16-bit Sound Card

    56k modem

    Keyboard and mouse

With the exception of the graphics solution, your computer is fine.  Luckily for you, this game is very heavily CPU-bound, not GPU-bound.  If you do try to play, make sure you play in Windowed-mode (hit alt+enter wen you see the login screen).   Also, you might need to add a line to your user.cfg file, but I'd wait to see if how the game plays, first.
