Official Site mistake

I always thought that the age thing to enter the official site was kind of silly. Anyone who wants to get in and isnt old enough can just lie about when they were born, as long as they dont completely suck at math.

So then i figure that if anyone is dumb enough to put in their actual birthday who isnt old enough and cant get in then they will just try again and enter a new date.

I decided to try this out. Much to my dismay the site actually locked me out.

Kind of funny that now i cant get into the site, and i am very much of age to enter it. Jokes on me i guess.

Now i have to figure out how to get them to let me back in.

    I dont believe i have actually posted on the official Conan forum yet so how could i have possibly trolled on it????

    And i rarely troll her unless someone posts something exceptionally stupid (much like the above two posts).

    I simply thought  that it was funny that i locked myself out testing their system which i didnt actually think would work. If i thought i was an idiot i would have posted it here for you brain surgeons to comment on.

    Now go back to hanging out in your Man Caves while your Mom makes some cookies for you and your friends.

    wow the only trolls i see in this post are the responders. He was just stating something he tried to do for fun. I will agree that he should have known better, but should you guys be ragging all over him for it?

    It's not that they have to ACTIVELY prevent youngsters,  they just need the APPEARANCE of Due Dilligence to prevent youngsters from viewing MATURE material.   Kinda like an "Adult" site saying "You must be 18 to Enter"   because that statement would have made me turn away at 17....... NOT?

    I agree with you :) I can't see why people are giving him shit for this thread.

    I guess you could just delete the cookies from ageofconan.com and you'll get to enter your date of birth again.

    That's assuming they don't do it through recorded IPs, in which case he'd have to try from a different computer entirely.

    As to people ragging on the OP, no it is not necessary, but this forum has seen a lot of crap lately, so I'm not surprised some first reactions are negative.
