    They got the cross server info from an interview from someone at Mythic. I'm too lazy to get the info but the guy said that they are experimenting with the idea. Alot of people are acting as if this is going to be ingame but it isn't.

    It was from a guy who ran the computers at the convention like he really knows whats going on with the game since he isnt part of the DEV teamn anyway.

    I already posted this on page two of this thread but here it is again:

    The interview with Adam

    The great interviewer does not get Adam's last name, but most likely it is Adam Gershowitz considering he has been at the other conventions.

    The actual interview is at the bottom where he mentions the cross-server queuing.

     Edit:  Also the WAR page for Adam is outdated, he is currently the Design Manager in charge of Combat and Careers.

    "There is as yet insufficient data for a meaningful answer."

    Games I've played/tried out:WAR, LOTRO, Tabula Rasa, AoC, EQ1, EQ2, WoW, Vangaurd, FFXI, D&DO, Lineage 2, Saga Of Ryzom, EvE Online, DAoC, Guild Wars,Star Wars Galaxies, Hell Gate London, Auto Assault, Grando Espada ( AKA SoTNW ), Archlord, CoV/H, Star Trek Online, APB, Champions Online, FFXIV, Rift Online, GW2.

    He's an artist not a lead game developer. The moment Paul or someone responsible for in game mechanics comes out and says this is true or restates it I'll believe. Then again how many Adam's are there in the world ? Why has this not be stated officially by Paul and gang ? Why is it coming from a guy in the Art department? How do we know this isn't just some randomly made up crap from someone named Adam but not the Adam mentioned in the link you presented.


    Sorry just to many holes in this link and interview to take it seriously. It reeks of bad, faulty, amateurish journalism IMHO.

    I have to agree, the article was written by an amateur.  That does not change the fact that Adam knows a lot about the game.  He has done quite a few interviews & is at most of the US conventions.

    I got the chance to speak to Adam Gershowitz, who is currently the Design Manager in charge of Combat and Careers and used to be the Lead Character Artist.

    Is it possible that there's another Adam working at Mythic that was at the convention, possibly, but not likely.  Also Adam does know what he's talking about most of the time.

    Here's another quote from the same interview: "In terms of the scenario game types I’m not an RvR developer. I’m only really familiar with the ones they’ve announced."

    So take that as you will.

    Personally, I will believe it when I see it.  But I'm just giving the facts so people can make their own assumptions

    Really can you prove to me that it's the same Adam you are referring too in those other links? Until you can prove it I'll take it with a grain of salt. Sorry but the internet is full of bad info that sometimes passes itself as fact.

    That's exactly my point & why I am waiting to see it actually implemented before I get upset.

    Even if the quote is 100% true.  Experimenting with something does not mean it will ever be in the game.  Hell they could be experimenting with Marauders mutating into pixies that sprinkle fairy dust on their enemies, but that doesn't mean it's going to ever see the light of day.

    Here's another interview with Adam from Games Day Chicago

    Note:  He says repeatedly that he is not developing the RvR mechanics & he is not that familiar with them.
