Feedback for Kicks, the free MMO football game

Hi,
I am working on behalf of GameTribe. We have had approval from the forum administrator to get feedback from you guys on the first online MMO football game, Kicks!
You can play against Europeans, play your mates in quick rounds, create a virtual 5-a-side team, play on loads of amazing pitches and it’s completely free to play.
You can download it now from www.gametribe.com
The game is currently in open beta testing so any feedback may be implemented into the game and would be greatly appreciated. If you guys have any questions or comments just reply to this post and I will get back to you, I will be checking it daily.

I've been chosen for the closed and been playing for about almost all the time it was up and its pretty nice, i gave the 3 keys + 1 (cuz of the maintenance thing)
And gave them all to my friends and its simply nice to play with them all in the same team....
I've never played since the Open Beta cuz i was on holidays, but heres the things i missed when it was closed:
-Option menu with Resolution, Terrain details, etc... the basic graphic options
-When we put the background-music to 0 nothing happens...
-When we put the SFX sound to 0 the sfx sound mutes and the background-music too..
(but i think the last 2 are already fixed right?)
And the goalkeeper position it would be very cool if you got that up ^^ but i think you're working on it because theres several things with that already, like the atribute points with the goalkeeping and when we create a room it says: AI Controlled GK......
But for a soccer online game is pretty cool......but ye all my friends complain about the options menu without the graphics and the other options usual things...
Definately better graphics would be great and better movement animations too...
Like the players animations running with the ball and receiving it and even shooting, passing, feinting, intercepting, etc.....
Net animations when the ball gets into the goal, less bugs with the stadium....
Sorry it thats too much to ask but if you would be able to do all this or at least a part of it, wow

Well, concluding, i think that the game has awesome awesome basics that some soccer games would envy but now you just have to focus on the details like these.....oh ye and the options lol

Well it is a korean mmo so let me say straight ouf of the gate FANTASTIC, we can never have enough of those around. /sarcasm off
The nature of the game is obviously cool and unique. The graphics arent stellar but obviously you were going for accessibility and I really like that. Just means more people can play it and thats always a plus for a multiplayer game.
The game is f2p with an item mall. This is obviously a must for a f2p game, but I hope the bonuses you can get aren't too drastic.
Another question would be....is it a grind ? Will I have to play 2000 matches before getting my skills up to a decent level ?
In response to your question, there’s no real answer for this… your actions in the game needs timing and practice, your character skills will improve the results. After playing few matches you’ll see your character improve a lot.

Well it could have better money rates and some permanent skills and celebrations at least and if u wanted to change celebration u could sell them or delete them.
Lag limited rooms where only ppl with 60~70 or 80~90 and 90+
Some info on switching to AMF for exemple and Human Goalkeeper soon xD

Totally agree with you anubis ^^
There could be something like a little ball in the bottom right screen or something that would change with our ping, for example, would be green when we have 0 - 100 ms, and would be yellow when we have 100-200, and red when its 200+ ping....
And in the lobby, when we are checking the rooms, in front of the rooms' names there could be these little balls with the respective host's ping...so then we could enter the rooms with better pings for us..
EDIT: that thing with the little ball that shows our pings is very used amongst the games with the same room/lobby system.

The game looks fun actually. Im in the middle of 2 right now though, GW and EQ2 so im not gonna try it out anytime soon. I must say DOMO looks awesome though.

Quick question - is the game truly player skill based or does it rely on who is the highest level with the best gear?
I must be honest, I haven't even looked at the game, but only because I'm skeptical about it's play style. If how you play is a big factor, then cool, otherwise I'm worried.
No its all about the player. Basically the player improves the more they play and the more points they earn. Tricks and additional skills can be bought to improve the over skill range also. The more you practice, the better you get...

Skill is definately needed....you can be a lvl 1 character and beat up a lvl 15 guy, if you know more about football (or soccer -.-) and pass the ball and not being hungry to get the ball.. your team can beat up high leveled guys easily...

I totally agree with XTinTioN, the true way to suceed in this game is to play as a team. A player earns extra points through various acheivements such as sucessful passes, tackles, shots and goals. You will find it much easier to score if you pass to a team mate than it is to score on your own.
I have played in loads of matches where lvl1-3 players have beaten lvl10-15! I am perfecting my stepover too

GamenGame is a site listing MMOs...its not a company with their own servers and games....they just list them and if u check on: GO TO THE WEBSITE.....it goes to the korean version of kicks, official one, not gamengame kicks cuz that doesnt exists.....
Its like MMORPG.com , or Freetoplay.org, all have lists of games that you can check videos and infos and even go to the official site....
(Gametribe is like the publisher of kicks online, english version.........for example, FLYFF....the english version of it its published by GPotato....and theres another versions like chinese and japanese that are published by other companies......but gamengame isn't that type of company....its just a listing site....forum and info..)
I think it works this way......well....chadhugo knows better than me so...if im wrong he will correct me

Hey chadhugo theres a bug that is super annoying.....it happened like 5 times already......when we score the camera stops and no one can move.....
It happens sometimes when we score.....
Everyone just freezes, and its not lag cuz we can talk and stuff........the camera switches to a camera very very near the floor and we cant do anything else than waiting till passes the time....you gotta check that....

Yah just chacked, they publish Fiesta Online Darkness and Light, played some of their games and get their newsletter.
Not.....gamengame is listing....Its like a business center to several companies that want to advertise or get support from gamengame or something like that...

well i played several games on the gamngame login info so you cant be correct lol. Also games can have several publishers you know. It could very well be the difference between a country and another. Like theres philpine versions of games and korean etc.

Chadhugo it happened again, freezes the image and no one can move : / gotta check that out...i remember that this never happened when it was closed beta = ...maybe its because of the mass population comparing to the closed beta...

Im pretty sure gamengame is both a listing and a publisher but theres wierd stuff going on over there as they took like 10 games off their list that were Single sign on games previously. Thats why i was wondering whats up with the relationship between kicks gamengame and gametribe.

The more i play, the more i want a ping meter, i mean, something that would show how many ping someone has in relation with the host player....
Because everytime i host a game, theres always like 1 player that laggs the whole server, if there was a ping meter i could see whos the one with high ping and ask him to leave or kick and everyone would play better....
You know what i mean?? i already said this in a previous post....
