Rumors flying about Blizzard employee's hinting toward a PVP revamping exspantion set for Q1 2008 release (likely to try and coax people away from WAR/AOC) Most recently a blue post on the WoW forums stating " We're actually going to change how PvP is done " Question..Will you go back to WoW if they practically "steal" the formally know Mythics RvR system?
WAR is the only option for me.
Most people I know chomping at the bit for WAR are Warhammer tabletop fans and DAoC fans, the majority of whom never played WoW. This poll would probably be more appropriate on a WoW thread.
Amen
I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad, The dreams in which I'm dieing are the best I've ever had.
Imagine playing a game thats so good and so entertaining that your actually do NOT want new content?
Where its so enthralling that you dont need a twerk or new map every 7-9 months to keep you interested? Imagine playing a game for fun and not for advancement or "fear" of being left behind in an ever escalating arms race of items and powerups.
Counter strike anyone? anyone?

I could not go back to WoW. I'm burned out on it now and everything is just boring.
Amen to that. I watch my stepbro and cousin play and i ask what they are doing. They respond with things like grinding rep or running X dungeon again for phat lewt!.... I am far behind and I see no reason to catch up (56 Priest).
Thats why im hoping WAR will have more options than just becoming BETTER to get better.
Any attempt to 're-build' WoW's PvP would be only that. Any engineer will tell that a part meant to do one job and had a fix slapped onto it so that it can do another job is never as good as one that was designed from the ground up to do the job right.
WoW might have been intended to incorporate both PvE and PvP but that design was lost long ago (probably when all those people left Blizzard sometime before the release). With Kaplan and Chilton running the game WoW was turned into a PvE game and 2-3 years later there has been too much development in it for the game to switch tracks.
If it did that at this point you only end up with another NGE-style fiasco and I don't think Blizzard is as blind as Sony to do that.
I said ahead to war because its war I love wat they have in there game wow does not have Dark Elves and its got more history then wow.. Warhammer is bigger name then warcraft even if warcraft get pvp war will still have the cool teams that people love so nope! not moving staying with war
Dont think I will be seeing WoW either at this point. I gave that game up 5 months ago. I may just go back for nostalgia reasons, but thats probably it. Too many newer MMO's coming out soon. At this point the graphics will definetly be dated by 2008 if they use the same models and faction grinding in WoW has left me bored outta my skull. I started playing it in 2004, I have grinded 3 60's for horde and 2 70's for alliance which were my main account. I couldnt even bare leveling another toon.
I ended up going back to Eve and SWG, I just gotta get out of the fantasy realm, however, I have been tickering with Vanguard just to see why so many people critize this game. But anyways, these games should keep me busy till the new mmos arrive.
So WoW I probably wont see for quite some time, until they release an expansion again.
Warhammer is definetly on my to do list and it does look excellent for being another Fantasy style mmo...

Why no corpselooting? Because they don't wanna turn into Runescape ^^

And as I am so must you be,
prepare yourself to follow me.
