I'm gonna make some obvious predictions and dare you to tellme they won't happen :)
    1. It will be nWoD because it's the new shiny toy in the box
    Possible.
    2. The 3 "iconic" factions will be in game (Vampire, Mage, Werewolf)..the others will not be NPC's at the start because it is supposed to be rare that they run into each other with any kind of awareness of each other.
Let's face it, they'd have to make a new type of all-out storyline, as there will suddenly be thousands of Vamps, Lycans, and Mages running around in the open (players). Dear God, please no Elder vamps dancing in their underwear for gold.
    3. It won't be twitch-based..it will be the same old skill/stat based game we've played for years.
As an RPG based gameworld, this would be preferred.
    4. The UI's will be skinned according to faction, but otherwise look like rip-offs of WoW because WoW ripped it off from every other game and just made it work right.
Possible. Or people will just mod their UIs like they do in most other games.
    5. PvP will be a high-level game rather than FFA because all-out bloodshed amongst AND within the 3 main factions is frowned on..so don't get a hard-on for PK
I'd say this is probably a good assumption.
    6. No matter how well it's written..there will people that will say they ripped off someone.
    Guaranteed.

    1. It will be new WoD garunteed. they no longer release source materials for old WoD, by the time the game hits Old WoD books will have been out of print for about 6-8 years, no way would they base WoD online (or what ever it may be called by then) on a books that are almost a decade out of print. that would be a bad p.r move.

    2. I still strongly believe that they will only release 1 race at a time. the same as they do with the table top books. the new WoD books released was as follows. World of Darkness, core rule book(for mortals), followed by Vampire the Reqium, then Werewolf came out, then mage, now changling has hit. each race has enough substanance to it, especially vamps, for them to release 1 race at a time, and save the rest for expansion materials.

    3. They will probably have a character sheet quite similar to the table top character sheet. Just like they did for Vampire the Masqurade, Bloodlines on PC. its just white-wolfs style.

    4. at least untill im proven wrong with some screenshots, i will place my money on a decent UI, not looking to much like someone elses, both CCP and White-Wolf have very inovative R&D teams.

    5. i think you are right on this one, although i hope FFA can be an option, with some very very severe penalties for getting caught. hopefully even comunity forced penalties, (i.e vamp court, mage concillium, or werewolf "insert meeting thingy here").

    6. duh. of course you are right on this one. at least one thing is true we can remain hopefull about, and that is if anyone is capable of putting some good story/plot content into a game, it is White-Wolf. im truly glad that they are taking the next 4-6 years to produce this game ,instead of just pumping it out to rush into the market.

One of the mistakes many news and journalists do is saying that CCP merged with whitewolf, well this is correct in a way.

CCP Bought up Whitewolf and i sure as hell hope that CCP does as with eve, the same skill system of course it would only make  sense that a Vampire should grow stronger the older he is. I also hope for for harsh death penalitys just like EVE and a complex game so the kids stay away, any WoW kid Jumping around screaming lolololol i pwn yooo would totally ruin this kind of game for me.

If i was going to play this game seriously i could never stand immature people coming in an ruining the gameplay since the Camarilla and the vampire gothic world kind of needs some common sense, maturity and Roleplay feeling to work for me atleast that is my view on the subject.

I would indeed love a MMORPG within the vampire world with the houses fighting eachother for power of the city and who to be prince.

I also hope for them only to put up one server so they can control the game as good as they have done with EVE remember its not done to get as much subscribers as possible its done to stay true to theyre vision and theyre game which is what differs CCP from the rest of the MMORPG producers who tryes togo after the big subscriber cake.

I assume that the game is about Vampire the requiem.
I'm pretty sure that the game is going  to use a skill system similar to EVE-online, I have no objections to that, it fits the game.

I would like to see a heavily instanced cities where most event locations are randomly created and only some main locations are carefully designed to give the particular city its character. The city view would be just a map where the key places are marked and event locations appear when appropriate.
I know this may sound lame to you but this kind of city structure would make possible to create vast number of cities for the game, and IMO this is needed to fit in  million+ subscribers. I'd like to see cities with manageable number of vampires for the Prince. (If that position is even playable...I hope it is)

The game should be a a total sandbox game (glorified chatroom to you critics) where the theme of the game is survival and powerstruggle.
Players should be constantly fighting over the limited resources and influence within the city through bakstabbing missions and kinred/kine politics.
Some "illegal" or "unappropriate" missions should be available at all times against other players, the high reward missions would also create traces or "dirty secrets" for other players to find out, which in turn could be used for blackmail/influence the Vampire to vote against his will or perform a mission etc.
In general opportunities to betray other players trust should be plentiful and rewarding, that is what Vampire is all about.

I'd like to see players having only 1 Vampire character and other playable characters for him would be ghouls, retainers, blood dolls etc. which would evolve and be very useful in their own way. The Vampire character should not be enabled for perma-death but the same would't be true for the "support characters". That is a great way to introduce horror for the game. I don't want the game to fall to GTA type of rampage, the killing of the players "support character" should be a complex task which would take time (missions, framing, politics).

    Like your ideas alot.

First off I'd like to say I'm very much looking forward to this game for many reasons and also I really only know the general outline of the clans of VTM .

I like the idea of having to start out as human ,and expanding your alt base by making ghouls.

If they did it like that then perma death could be done in a way. You  couldn't kill the vampire it self ,but you could kill the vampire's ghouls.

The reason this  kind of death could work well is if the vampire needs ghouls to do the little stuff like bring in money(jobs), make contacts, and run errands, but at the same time the Camerilia really don't care about ghouls and there responce to this problem would be  "No blood hunt needed. Handle it yourself."

On the citysize talk my two cents is that they will either  need many game servers or have lots of different citys with many areas in those citys . If it gets to the point where you feel like there are more vampires then humans the feel of the game would start to suck.  On a side note, missions could work similar to matrix online missions.

If you are able to make a top level ghoul into a vamp they should put in a percentage factor that the lower your main vampire's level the higher percentage that you would make a thin blood.

And to make unlife easier for us solo people maybe think about letting us use our ghouls as henchmen in missions aswell.

On a finale note: Please make lots of social cloths. Up to par with AO.
