no new WoW exp???

I haven't heard anything from Blizzard about a new exp for WoW. Why are they so slow in making expansions?  EQ2 already has like 50 out.

there is a thread going around about a new WoW expansion. how could you miss it.

Don't get me wrong when I say this, because I have no problem with SOE or EQ2. Infact I really like EQ2 quite a bit.

 

However, Blizzard is a great company and they give frequent FREE content updates and add a massive amount of content to the game at no charge to their players. Personally, I think if you were to bundle up all the free content they have added since WoW was launched, I think it would be worth like 2 expansions.

Then theres also the BC expansion itself. They added a great deal of content this this one too(however you have to pay for this content obviously).

A lot of people seem to think that BC ruined quite a bit of the game. It took all their hard work at raiding and grinding for epics and tossed it right out the window and people got upset. Even blues in the BC are better than a lot of the epic gear from raids.

I'm sure in the next expansion, Blizzard is going to try and avoid pissing people off and throwing their hard work out the window once again.

A good expansion takes quite a while to develop and Blizzard is new to MMOs, so it may take them even longer because of their inexperience.  Just be patient, the next one will come eventually and I'm sure it will be better than the first.
