14 day trial

TimoneTimone Member Posts: 6

Hmm well i am into day three of my 14 day trial and i havent been able to log into the game once.  it has been frustrating to say the least!!

i followed the instructions on the mmo site, created a NC account, input my key and downloaded the client and the game.  every time i try to log on it tells me my log in name or password is incorrect.  i have double and triple checked the login and password so i know it is not user error:P  but should i uninstall the client and try it again?  i even asked nc for help and they said that i had to create an account before i used support but i only tried to contact support after i logged in and checked my account information!!!  all this trouble for a trial?  seems like they dont want people to try it imo :(   what a waste!  any help would be appreciated.

DId you make a game account? I had the same problem when I played COX for the free trial. You have a NCsoft login and a Game account login for COH. So make sure your using the right user name and password that you set up for you GAME ACCOUNT.

There are 2 accounts. You have your PlayNC Master account and you have a CoX login account. You do have the option to set the CoX login account to match your master account, but it's not the default.

Log into your PlayNC master account, click on City of Heroes and check the user name at the top next to the City of Heroes icon. That is your username for getting into City of Heroes.
