Most of the boxed EQ2 verison have 30days free included. But even if you have this version, you have to create new account to use them (30 days free didnt apply for trial or existing station accounts).

Not sure about the debit card thing, but when I bought the boxed set (mine was Kingdom of Sky) my first month was free.
Edit: Just found it. Yes, you can use a debit card.

WoW and fast food = commercial successes.
I neither play WoW nor eat fast food.
I got the all-in one direct to drive thing and that came with a free 30 day trial and I had to use my debit card to activate the account.
Yeah Debits cards work, I have always used debit cards for my EQ and EQ2 subscriptions.
Also you don't need a new station account, you just need one which hasn't had an Everquest 2 Trial on it.
Though unless you have another ongoing subscription to another SOE game or one you want to resub to at one point. Might aswell make a new account.
I added my EQ2 sub to my station account with my EQ account and it worked fine, though this was when EQ2 was released 3 years ago.
