but create an account, register for beta - and the chances are youll get in pretty soon - there has been a big push for numbers of late for (pre OB) stress testing, and OB isnt far away
Bah I'm not downloading the client just for a 24 hour pass. A week maybe but not for a few hours.
ahem... the 24 hour bit refers to the fact that they expect there are enough codes to go round and should last 24 hours before they run out of beta codes - that will be for the rest of CB and all of OB... not that the codes are for a 24-hour pass
the last lot went in an hour or two - so they have more codes to give out this time
haha 6 megs a second download speed FTW . I got about 9 min for the entire download time

Meh put it off a buncha times and finally registered on the 26th! Guess I am outta luck unless one of my fellow MMORPG's can hook me up with an account if they have multiples... Or they hate the game or refuse to download that much due to any reason and would like to donate their code or account to me.

ANYONE can now download the client+get a beta key. Again repeat, it does not matter now WHEN you registered, so go get your key before they are gone.

I did read. You wanna tell me where it says that, when even the official forums are full of "must be registered before the 23rd".
Also, read that "I signed up for the beta and forums when they were first opened, even logged in a week or so ago, now it suddenly says I have no account". Which means I can't even post on the official forums without making a new account, which I have done but the system has yet to send me a verification e-mail. Which means that even if I could get a key, I can't because of the system not sending me a simple damn e-mail. There are other people on the official boards who are getting the "no account found" crap too, so it's not just me.
Ah, well. Screw it. I was hoping beta would change some of my opinions of PE, but so far they've just reinforced them. No harm, no foul. Enjoy the beta.
