Either way i dont think the government did it because its not at the right time to stop the elections so bush can use his new power he errected back in may. but expect somting to happen whenever the votes or tallies for the new president happen.
Anyone advocating genocide as a "solution" to political problems should be ignored, but watched.
Why? They would do it to us in a heartbeat if they had the power to do it. In fact if you knew your history you would know they have come close to success in the past. One day they are going to wake up and actually be competent again and then they will make us sorry. Most of them just don't think like us peaceful co-existence is not in their vocabulary.

Whatever happened, it is still The US gov to be blamed. Isn't this their responsibility to make sure bridges are safe.
In most countries someone would have to take blame for the crappy maintenance off this bridge. and no, stuff doesn't just happen.
No, as I've already stated, the responsibility to maintain things such as traffic and public bridges rests soley in the hands of the local governments, not the federal government.
And to the poster above me saying that most funding comes from the federal government...most of the money comes in the form of grants that the federal government gives to the state governments in exchange for the state governments doing something FOR the federal government. You know that whole national drinking age? Well the only reason we have one is because the federal government paid the states to enact a universal drinking age...the same is true for the maintinence of roads. The state governments recieve federal money that is supposed to go towards certain things, in some cases that certain thing is the maintinence of roads and bridges.
Dra you are wrong on this subject. While it may be up to the local government to maintain the bridge, Federal funds are used for that goal. This is an interstate and that means Federal. The local government is however to blame imo and not Bush.

Lol yeah typical penatly in many countries in the middle east. My personal favorite was this tower they had in Dhaharan Saudi Arabia never got to see it in actual use but the blood stains backed up what I was told about it by the locals. It was roughly eight stories tall or so, and the base was surronded by jagged rocks. If they were not entirley convinced someone was guilty they would push that person off the top of this tower. If said person was innocent Allah would save them...........
I don't think any of the suspects were ever proven to be innocent of their crimes.
Incidentally that is the very same Dhaharan were the Khobar Towers bombing took place six months after we left. Our only crime was to try and protect them from other Arabs by enforcing the no fly zone to keep Saddam in his cage. Gotta love the gratitude.
