It's not about the numbers, its whether you can use what you have to good effect and more importantly whether you have fun playing that character. It is after all just a game.
I quit like 4 or 5 months back but when I quit I had 25% crit and about 700+ sustained dps with just assassins gear so I guess if your running karazhan and have purps that is about where you should be at if I remember properly.
What is important is your Hit rating. if you have less than 200 hit rating, then your gear is totaly crap. 250+, and at least 30% critt, then yeah thats starting to get good.
and 1000 backstab at 70 is really, really really bad. my backstab critts for 2000-2300 on a clothie. are you using a 1.3 speed dagger in mainhand?

Definately. i think it does matter about numbers and your crit chance is pretty good, you have a 1 in 4 chance of critting. But the skills matter 2. You need to know which skills pair up with each other like a stun, then backstab or something like that. I think i screwed my rogue. I didnt stick to one skill tree and i did all 3. oh well im done with WoW anyway,
Please, people who know nothing about playing rogue in endgame dont bother typing.
as a dualwielder, you by default have a 24% miss chance. therefor you need at least 200 hit rating, with precision talent, to not be completley gimped in endgame.
as for skill rotation, with a dagger specc, its just Backstab>Backstab>Backstab>backstab>backstab>Slice and dice
repeat
with Combat swords/fists/maces, its Sinister strike x5, slice and dice, Sinister strike x5, Rupture, restart cycle

OP: This is the second time you are posting about your "badass" rogue. Did your last attempt at showing off make you feel a bit insecure? Hehe. Post your Amory URL and I'm sure players will be more than helpful to inform you whether your rogue is indeed "badass" or not. (www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/142937)

Some of my guild rogues have 35%+ crit but we're talking Teir 4 armour in most cases.
Then why are you trolling the WoW forums?

Put your money where your mouth is, give us your ingame name and realm so we can Armory you.
