NOOO! Why? WHY?

in Everquest II

I was at school *giggeling* like a little kid, in hope of the BETA would be announced today... June 1... but NOOoooOO... You see I'm going on a vacation the 12, so i REALLY REALLY wanted the beta to start today... so atleast i could say i was a part of the first EverQuest2 "population"image

Not only do i want to test the game, i want to help polish this beautiful masterpiece...image

Well well... guess i'll just go hang myselt then... image

    Maybe you could feign a major sickness on the 15th which requires you to cut your vacation off early.  then you come home and get into the beta and then spend the rest of your vacation stuck do your keyboarrd. image

    and then if you dont get in you pretend you are well and go back on vacation. image

    Sounds to me like someone's done this before. ;)  A good plan, really.. who needs a social life when you have the EQ2 beta?  God knows if I'm accepted I won't see the light of day for months.

    The first phase of public(closed) beta is supose to start in july. Atleast thats what morgard said. I think he said it in the eq2 vault E3 video interview they did with him.

    Yes, as of right now internal testing is going on, and Europe/UK/Germany is signing up for beta as of the 7th.

    July is the tentative month for beta to begin for those that get into the 1st wave, and will proceed to other phases as needed.  I feel you are safe to do what ever you need to do until later this month or even the 1st week of Jully.  Perhaps by the end of this month they will begin notifying a round of beta testers.

    Have fun until the July, then hope to get into beta at some point.

    I think generally the first wave of beta invites that go out are for press and gaming site people, not for the general public. Public get invited after that im pretty sure, like wave 3 or 4, some in 2

    Well from what i have read, it seems to me that the Legend server subscribers will be getting the real "first" slots for the beta,  plus the few that sites like this get to give away.  Then if there are any left they will go the the SOE beta signup to fill the leftovers.
