Eternum Online is a graphical web-based massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. Eternum offers players an unprecedented degree of freedom in which to adventure in; allowing you to create an online persona and immerse yourself in a fully interactive fantasy world the like of which the web has never seen, be it questing, socialising or player versus player combat which ranges from cold blooded murder to full-scale guild wars. I had the same problem, just had to okay it with my firewall, McAfee can become quite standoffish with new sites.

Yah I registered again and it worked. The magic system sux, my guy doesnt cast more than 1 spell, and why would he cast iron skin 10 times ? lol
Also druid sux cause u cant upgrade his weapon so I think warrior or paladin is the only way to go. Found myself an uber sword too :P
You can buy and scribe more than one spell. Also druids can upgrade their weapon, not all classes can use all weapons tho.
Yes you can scibe but you still wont cast more than 1 in combat. It is a broken system atm in my mind. Also can druids use swords, thought they could only use blunt weapons of which there are none for sale in town. Also I havent played a mage yet but it appears with only 2 offensive spells to buy once they start going up against goblin battlemasters or centurions they will have 0 chance of winning because of their low AC and low hp. What level are you Arthathor ? I got my warrior up to 14 :P)
I like it but it needs alot of work, mobs dissapear sometimes, there is no quests or trainers as the newbie guide would let us believe :P
Well your link seems to have nicer looking sprites and a much more polished game in general. Hard to compare a game thats been out a while and a new game like this.
Right now your link is better than the Ops
but I have to protest your attempt at diverting attention from his game onto your own :P
However since I pretty much maxed out on the current content of his game i'll try yours also :>

It's not my game, I just play it...I could have easily mentioned "Kingdom of Loathing" and/or "RPG Battle" which I play from time to time as well.

PhantasyRPG has severe issues with bandwith...perhaps because its popular but everything loads super slow.
Are you using IE7, as it has some problems connecting to sites if you have to many Tabs or new IE7 browsers open at once; this is what I have been noticing and it's not site specific.
You used to be able to turn off certain things to speed up the game under Settings, cannot find it anymore.

I have experienced the same thing with FF, but not as often as with IE as described above...and yes I use both browsers.

Thats not exactly saying much lol... but this is a great game.
Experiencing problems in Eternum.....my lvl 14 char is stuck in limbo the map isnt showing up at all
think the dev might have taken the town map offline
They've recently added loads of new zones... that might have solved the problem?
Yeah all good now and a ni8ce imrovement on the look of the maps too.
I tried it out expecting a game in Flash/Java where I could move my char in real time, But I just can't get over the fact that It basically has to refresh the page every time I want to move. I don't have a slow connection or anything but if you're going to create a game thats graphical and the chars are going to move, atleast having it be real time is something I enjoy.
I can tolerate "browser based" games where you're in some maze and its first person and the screen refreshes every time you turn and what not, but I just can't play overhead like that.

Hmm I'm on 2mbps and it's playable for me, it's only a tiny image that gets refreshed anyway. Just think of it as a MUD with a nice graphical element :P
Well here's a criticism. A news section on the front page. Another alternative and the best one would be to have a forum, so we know what works what doesnt what areas are there and what isn't. The gameworld looks nicer now but everything is di8fferet, there's some higher level content , but I don't see higher level equipment. My lvl 14 warrior gets killed every time by green and yellow mobs now. Oh and for some reason chain and leather helmets wont equip on my warrior, had to equip a cloth :P
Start a forum, you'll get alot of feedback and we can have some info on the game, if the dev rory is listening :P
K cool, forums are up, so peeps have a place to go for suggestions and bug reports and chat etc... if anyone has siggestions on the game I would suggest posting there......i'm sure the devs welcome criticism as well
