Guilds

I know the big thing is the war between Order and Destruction, but my humble question is, what is going to be the big thing about being in a guild?  I know housing is being tossed around, but obviously it wont be in at launch, is there going to be any reason to be in a guild besides a social aspect, and meeting new people who would like to gank with you?

While I am no sure what emphasis will be put on guilds, I do know they recently had a guild beta signup where entire guilds were invited to beta and given keys in relation to guild size. So they must be doing SOMETHING, just not sure what.

    Guilds can gain levels

As they gain levels they will be able to unlock tactics, get items (Consumables, banners, etc) and resources.

Plus its no fun to play an MMO alone

Most guilds are groups of players whose playstyles complement each other, WAR's guilds won't be any different.
Do you need more of a reason to join a guild?

I think that you have misunderstood my question , I acknowledged that guilds give you a social aspect, my question was is there going to be anything special, like getting to carry a banner, or have something like matching helmets , or any neet little bits put in, though that was answered.
