Question About Purchasing LotRO

I was wondering if there is anyway to purchase this game online, and perhaps download the client digitally?  Such as a Direct2Drive type idea? (Sorry if that's advertising lol)  Or is there anyway to download the client and then purchase a game keycode online and then use it to sign up for a new account?

I know for a fact it's not on D2D.  And no you must purchase the retail version in order to get the "key code".  I also believe the trial version does not contain the hi-res graphics that the retail has.

Thanks, Yea I just found the thread on the official forums on how to download it.  Here's what I found when trying to make an account (Found on the product key entry page):

"If you purchased a boxed product, you can find the Product Key printed on the Product Key Insert similar to the following:

(PICTURE OF THE BACK OF A RETAIL LOTRO BOX)



If you have obtained/purchased a key electronically, please check your email or your electronic receipt".

 

The part in bold is what's getting me.  Is there a way to, "Obtain/purchase a key electronically?"

 

 

EDIT:  I believe I've also found a highres version of the client: download.turbine.com/lotro/LOTRO_HighRes_Buddy_Download.exe

Thanks for the info, I'm going to use GamersLoot.com to get the key when my funds allow for it lol. (Again sorry for advertising)  Now to find a good ol' buddy key until then
