Returning to SWG...could use some info...

Coming back to the game to give it a try.  I have an old toon that I can play...stopped playing around the time of the "village".  The toon had been new to the Flurry as I had started on Tarquinas and moved him to play with friends.

 

Anyhow, getting ahead of myself...when I logged him the game asked me to choose a class (this is all new to me...prior to this I had been pretty much every profession) I chose jedi and now have a level 73 jedi knight with no clue how to actually play him...I do have 10 respecs, so I am not even sure jedi would be the best class for me.

 

I will probably mess with the tutorial to get my feet wet and get used to the new system...

 

Can anyone assist me in getting my old toon started again?  How should I spec...how do I drop my rebel status...how do I get my sabre working?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

    Well its always best to level with a class you like, however in this case scenario people usually choose Commando. I leveled with Jedi from CL60 to CL90 when I got back into the game myself 3 months ago.

    Quick Tips..

    Watch an Master Entertainer (you will see stuff like 15:00 flying up the screen, meaning you got a 15:00 minutes to a buff, keep watching till it says MAX DURATION). You can get up to 5 hours on buffs from a Entertainer.

    Ask your Master Entertainer for XP Buffs (which gives you an extra 15% xp), Energy or Kinetic Resist Buff, 2nd Chance. (These are usually my choices when leveling). I usually tip between 15k to 30k, depending on the Master Entertainer..
