a little advice please

well i got my new computer YAY!!! im so happy............. but im not really...

my comp has decent specs n all but it seems to just reject games

 i have started to play everquest 2 about a month ago and my computer has gone through stages of crashing during everquest, sometimes not at all but sometimes as soon as i log in to the world. For example i cannot log into everquest at the moment because as soon as i do it just buggers up and freezes, the thing is that it has just started crashing again while before for the last few weeks it was fine with the rare chance of a crash.

as i got pissed off with the constant everquest crashing i decided to install call of duty 2 , yet the game screen looks like someone has set off a smoke grenade in your face that does not go away, all the icons are there yet no gameplay screen, i can still see the cursor and map and if i point at people, their names. i thought this may be related to the EQ2 problem.

I have re installed EQ2 several times

 

I was just wondering whether anyone could give me advice on how to stop everquest crashing because i want to play it

not good enough video card?DPI not set right?Resolution....RAM not sufficient ?Clock speed not sufficient?

All those maybe the cause of problems, just check the requirement for the games and match it with your comp spec

no my specs are definately good enough i ran EQ2 on virtually full settings smoothly

all my comp specs are good, its not about them..... cheers anyways

If your stuff is all good enough, my bet is it's either your monitor screwing up/not set up right, or the video card screwing up/not set right.
