So what game are you waiting for?
I am personally waiting for Aion because it looks like a fresh change in pace and doesn't seem like an endless grindfest like some of the other games I have played.

guild wars 2, alternative playable races!
Jolly good old chap,
I must say, I have no interest in any of the MMOGs in the forseeable future, while some like Age of Conan look to be making some change in the industry, this isn't really enough of a change to make me want to play, I feel it would require a complete overhaul of MMOGs as we know it to gain my interest again.
Of course your preferances are your own and I mean you no ill will sir.
Ok so I took the polite thing a little too far.
Don't you worry little buddy. You're dealing with a man of honor. However, honor requires a higher percentage of profit
I can't say that there is much that I would be anxiously anticipating, however I am encouraged by the looks of games like Darkfall, Spellborn, and perhaps Fallen Earth.
Well it all depends, I'm anticipating WAR, GW2 and Aion. It all depends if I like the games in beta and whether I'm too into WAR to get GW2. Btw, who voted no? how could you not like a topic like this...seesh.
We're all Geniuses. Most of us just don't know it.
I am waiting for Fury because my friends and I love the fast paced pvp style of play.

To me it seems that the goal of mmorpgs should be to create alternate worlds for us. I feel that game developers for the most part have eschewed that dream in favor of slapping together simplistic, linear, shallow, one track, progression grinds. Follow the yellow brick road untill you reach the end and then the devs plaster some new graphics on the same old stuff, call it a new game and everyone goes rushing in to do it all over again.
I disagreed with your AoC comment because to me it looks like exactly this same old thing again. I don't know why people think it's going to be different but I suspect that belief stems largely from wishfull thinking and over blown hype. "Real Combat" indeed! Heh, yeah, that's a catchy hype phrase but I think people are going to discover that it's really not that much different from the combat in existing mmorpgs. It's still just punching buttons and the game determines hits and misses with dice rolls and stats.
And other than the supposedly "new" type of combat the game doesn't deviate significantly from the standard formula that has been done and done again many times over.
I am interested in how a few turn out. I will most likely wait and see if there ratings are good before picking them up though..alright here's a small list:
1. Guild Wars 2 (not gonna wait for opinions for this one, just gonna jump in )
2. Age of Conan
3. Warhammer Online
4. Aion
5. Darkfall
6. Zu Online (the least that i'm looking forward ot, but still wanting to try it out)
I'm waiting for WAR, Darkfall, AoC, and GW2.
after being scorned by the disastrous releases of last year, i've learned to not anticipate game releases anymore.
let 'em come, if they're good i'll play, but i refused to back developers that have been releasing steaming piles of regurgitated trash to the market and watching elitist fanboys proclaim that it's the second coming of christ, when it's obvious to anyone without a set of starry blinders over their eyes that it's clearly not.
.. jaded.. yes, a bit.
