I was just browsing through the Vanguard SOE flash site vanguard.station.sony.com/and clicked on media > concept art and WOW... I can see why many people had such high hopes for this game. The artwork looks absolutely amazing and while the game doesn't look bad right now, it doesn't look nearly as it does on those. Anyways just came across my head, what do you guys think?

Darling, we weren't excited over the graphics. It was something a little more. Pretty much, if you asked anybody on the forums before the launch about their MMORPG history, it would invariable include Star Wars Galaxies and/or Everquest. We longed that kind of gameplay, we didn't care what it looked like really. We didn't get it.
Yes, I know I'm only speaking for myself, but that was the sentiment I picked up both pre- and post launch.
