Wizards on the Toast officially announced last night at GenCon 2007, 4th Edition will be released May 2008.

unfortunately due to bad planning, the WotC D&D website is still down from a self inflicted DoS attack by having a timer count down on their page for the 24 hours previous to the new webpage being posted (which tried to load on everyones computer that had that page open) , which is extremely graphic/java/flash intensive.

People still play pen n paper games ? :P j/k

I hope they don't water down the game mechanics even more, I'm not a big fan of 3rd edition :P

Bleh I don't pay attention to anything after 2nd Edition. Just trying to grab more money. LAME!

In America I have bad teeth. If I lived in England my teeth would be perfect.

I agree with SeaBass.  1st and 2nd edition rule sets where around about 10~15 years each.  3rd has only bee around 5~6.  Big money bait.
