Worst Summer ever!

All we've had is rain rain and more freaking rain!!!! I don't mind it in the Winter but all this means is more rain until next Summer where it'll probally rain some more :( I don't actually think theres been a sunny day since April where i live in the UK. Just been freaking floods and rain. Now i'm not blaming Human caused global warming and C02 and all that crap cause i don't believe in it, these things just happen.



Still though worst summer ever!

    Oh sure, blame rain. It's been hot here, I would have enjoyed a bit of rain...ok, a lot of rain, a whole lot.

    Yea it has been a wet year for us British.  

     

    Tho we have had some good hot days. Just not the usuall ammount.

    Yup i agree its been rubbish here maybe 2 or 3 days of heat the rest damp and cold. Lucky im going to Dubai in 4 days :).

    The last time I saw any rain where I live was about 6 months ago. Even then it was scattered showers with no consistency. Its been about a year and a half since we have had a true full-day of rain.

    P.S. Its currently 11:30 and it is about 90 something degrees outside as well.

    i miss all those constant rainy days. . but i had to move to the U.S and i hate it here!!! i used to live in london for 8 years and it rained every single day practicly, and i loved it. .. .it never rains here

    I liked it. Not as extreme as in UK here in Sweden. I had a good reason to hang around with buddies playing Wii and lan with them. If it would've been sunny I would've been hunted constantly by my mom and dad who insist on taking me with them to the beach. Even though I don't want to.

    Today ended our week and a half long streak of 100+ days. Mind you, I'm in Arkansas. When it's 90 degrees out the humidity raises that to 100. SO it's been a suffocating oven outside for a long ass time. Your dreaded rain made my cigarette break that much more enjoyable. Oh wait, was I talking about suffocating air?

    Hey Keebs I totally agree with you, they are lucky....

    I live here in southern Cali  near Pasadena and we are getting screwed by the lack of rain.  I heard a report that normally by this time of the year we are at 13-15 inches and right now we are at 3-4 inches.

    I am about to start looking up the Native American Rain Dance and see if I can't put a dent in this messed up rainfall total.

    In moderation a bit of rain is fine.. But I agree it's bloody rediculous at the moment. We've had one or two hot days, but the rest of the time it's been cold/rainy.

    I like rain.  I get all excited looking at the weather radar to see it coming.  I live in a good place for rain too.  On the Gulf Coast we get more rain than just about anyone in the nation.  The only thing I don't like is when a strong lightning storm comes and blows out my power for a while.  But a nice steady rain is so relaxing and sets a gentle mood.
