Hello my fellow gamers. I'm doing research on mmorpgs and I thought I would start doing a "daily" poll to gather some insight on mmorpgs and the people that play them. I'll try to do one poll a day or as often as I can. I would really appreciate everybody's help and participation with these. I hope that not only will I gather the information I'm looking for, but I also hope that these polls will give you enjoyment and something fun to talk/post about.

Btw, while my polls could go either way, they are mainly intended for Fantasy based mmorpgs and not SciFi based mmorpgs.

I'm all for melee based combat but it depends on the game. Charactering balancing seems to be absolutely screwed on pretty much any game I try leaving Mages terribly overpowered so if that's the case I'd have to go with one of them.

I love two handed stabbing, slashing, crushing, bashing, or sword and board, but I also like a little bit a fairy dust too.

I'm a sucker for melee/caster multiclasses in DDO.

I always prefer classes with ranged non-magical attacks (hunters, rangers) or pet classes (necromancers, conjurers), but lacking that I normally end up with a hybrid or spellcaster.
