Fallen Earth clone

If you were to see another Fallen earth clone, or rather another Post Apocalyptic game come out.

Would you play it, if Fallen earth wasnt the game for you?

Or do you think it is a total rip off, even though you have seen thousands of other games, sturtling around in the same universe as Tolkien has made?

    lol, i was thinking the exact same thing.

     

    i have little faith that FE will ever actually be released as a game, so i'm open to seeing an actual game like this and not a game engine sales demo.

    No, what im interested about... Would you, as a player, think it is a rip off to make a game in the same style as Fallen Earth?

    Just like people think that Warhammer is a direct rip off, off World of Warcraft.

    Unfortunatly this is true. So a post apocolyptic game based on anyhting would be good now. I often wonder why with the cult following of  Fallout there isnt a MMO post holocaust game.

    competition is disastrous for MMO's...there are only so many people that like certain genres.

    And there seems to be alot who likes the sci-fi genre.

    And alot of people gives interest in Fallen earth... You dont think there could be space for 2 post apocalyptic MMO's?

    i think regardless of genre if a game is good, players will come. the less successful one will either have a smaller playerbase and accept that, or go into financial turmoil and try to restructure/sell or close up shop. there's pleanty of room in the market for as many that can be made, but they better do a damn good job doing it if they expect any returns.

     

    i'm completely sick to death of fantasy style games, and i TRY (not always with success) to avoid them, but if someone were to make a GOOD skill based world sim type fantasy mmo, i'd be more than happy to play it.
