So the PS3 looks set for a average 2007...

Warhawk, Heavenly Sword and Lair all got mediocre scores and the other big titles have been delayed to 2008 or look mediocre. People are quick to call the end of PC gaming and yet we're got a amazing rest of 2007 and 2008 in store with a much stronger line up than any console.

Heavenly Sword and Warhawk have barely been reviewed yet. although Play Megazine gave Heavenly Sword a perfect 10 score.
And sorry to inform you, but the best line up is clearly going to the Xbox 360, who's lineup makes the PC bite the dust.
Ack, let me step in and say this first. To say that any one platforms line-up is the "Best" or "will win" is purely perspective. Every platform is going to have games that appeal to different people. And just because certain games or titles appeal to one person it doesn't mean that platform has "the best" line-up. I just wish more people could grasp the concept that their opinion isn't the only one out there and that it doesn't decided for everyone else. Now, if we're talking about "best" as in who has sold the most copies of titles I would have to believe PC wins in taht department. Namely because A- I think more people have PCs than have next-gen consoles and B- Consoles are still sorely lacking in MMOs (I know there are titles coming and there are a select few out there) which is a very large market to be left out of the loop.
That said, the only review I have read for Heavenly Sword as of yet is from IGN. Frankly, I would sooner trust a retarded dog with one eye, 2 and a half legs, and no tail to chase a cat than I would for IGN to properlly review something. They are up there with Adam Sessler in their reviewing skills to me. Also, keep in mind...I can't stand critics...period. I run with the old addage "Those who cannot do, critique" in mind.
As for Warhawk I have read high praise reviews of it. Personally, I think the PS3 is going to do fine with it's growing line-up. Really, we're just now seeing the titles it's capable of handling. True, I think next year might be bgger, but that kind of goes without saying for year 2 on a console.

In any case who really cares which system has the best games? The Wii has some stellar titles hitting, the 360 has some great ones coming, the PC has a few gems of its' own, and the PS3 has a couple goodies too. All in all this is one of the best year for video games that I have seen since the old SNES days. Does it really matter if the 360 has a few more games coming out than the PS3 or if the PC is getting Crysis exclusively?

I do have to agree with you though that this year AND next seem to be some pretty stellar years for game releases. It may be that we've had a few bads years perviously, but I have some high hopes for the next 12 months.

Assasin's Creed is on PC
Mass Effect will probably come to PC
You left out games like:
Crysis
Left4Dead
Hellgate: London
World in Conflict
Company of Heroes expansion
Supcom expansion
God of Heroes
Sim City
TF2
Quake Wars
Gears of War (even though it sucks) with Longer Single player and better multiplayer + DX10 and a SDK for MODs which no game on the 360 will ever have.
The PC lineup is the strongest tbh and thats not including all the mods.
Basically the only good exclusive the 360 has this year is Mass Effect which is made by Bioware and will be out on PC next year anyways.

Supreme commander is just an expansion.. nothing to go crazy about Forged Alliance is a standalone title that will not require the original Supreme Commander. So as you can see its not an expansion in the traditional sence. And besides whats wrong with expansions anyway?

Most of the games you quoted are not really that good you know Take Halo 3 its a pile of crap just like halo 1 and 2

Nothing wrong with expansions they ARE games. Also most of the games you quoted for the 360 are either PC ports or games that will be ported elswhere.
Be carefull you are begining to sound a bit fanatic about this now.

They always have glitches in the console versions. The difference is they either claim they are intended or you have to wait forever for a fix, if it even comes.Almost every you list that is going to be on consoles as well is actually designed for PC first which makes the Console version inferior.

lol, Methane, you're discussing with a bunch of people who are desperatly trying to justify paying hundreds of dollars for a high end "gaming" pc. In their reality, every game is build for the pc and the console version is dumbed down.Oh well, if shooters and RTS are your thing. But if you want something else, you're pretty much screwed.

As apposed to paying 100's of dollars for a console that breaks down every few days. With a selection of generic 'safe' games And PC ports.
Civilisation Games. - Empire similator with a long History.
Football manager - No explanation needed
Defcon - A game based on the old film Wargames.
EvE - A online MMO thats a Space trading simulator.
Guildwars - A CORPG thats pretty popular
Splinter cell games - A stealth based spy game.
Galactic Civilisations - An empire simulator
Hitman games - A great series that needs no introduction at all.
Thief games - A great game that while it is a FPS is still very inovative.
UFO ga,es - An 3d tactical game thats pure gold.
World of warcraft - 8-9 milion people love this need i say more.
So as you can see jsut by the top of my head [or should i say in my PC library] there are quite a few non RTS and FPS games on the PC.

Shall we now compare that to the amount of games on consoles ? Lets not, we both know the clear winner. PC's have always been mainly about strategy, FPS and MMO's, because those genres are the only genres in which a mouse and keybord works better then a real controller
The top and popular genre's on PC is FPS, RTS (or just "S") and MMO's. Everything else a console can do better. Also I think that if you HAVE, a controller hookup to your awsome PC, that just makes it like a console right?
Anyway, I think that X360 has the best line-up (including ports to whatever). When I say that I'm talking about games even people outside their own picks of pc or consoles knows. If you know what I mean.

Personally this argument is pointless anyway as ther are good games for all systems and in the end its down to persoanll opinion. I will say this tho there are some good PC games comming out this year that i am looking foward to.Supreme Commander The expansion [ i loved the game and the new faction looks interesting.
