Widescreen Format Support?

I've bought a new computer and hooked it up to my 57' Zenith Widescreen HDTV.  (ATI's 9800 All-In-One supports it).

The picture is awesome but it only likes widescreen format games.  I play Quake 3 on it because it's the only game I have that supports widescreen. 

I think there is a market for Widescreen TV's and Monitors, I was just wondering if this game is gonna support it.

PLEASE SUPPORT WIDESCREEN FORMAT

If you want to play a game with widescreen support, i think EQ2 is the only one that supports it so far.
