Haha, so true. I get tired of Oracle snooping around the EQ2 forums trying to find a way to bash this game. Just because the WoW forums are stuck with pre-pubescent children who can't spell, trying to hype WoW to death, doesn't mean he should stay on this forum.

I can remember ONE time I played a female character and I haven't lived it down til this day. It was back in my UO days. Back then I would stand outside the bank and see all the people doing their thing. Well one day I was there and saw a guy who was walking around and he had 4 girls following him and apparently he was pretending to be their pimp, the converstation was pretty funny, but not crude. Well I saw this and saw him mention how rich he was. I thought for a minute and quickly logged off.
I quickly Created a character named Yasmyn and ran to the bank. I walked around in his general area for awhile and then he started talking to me and wanted to make me his "hoe" and said he would give me a house and right then and there he gave me a house deed. I was freaking out because I hadn't owned a house and I had been playing since release. I pretended to be a girl and just follow this guy around and say things like, "Oh you're the man baby!" and silly little compliments like that, nothing perverse. After about 20 minutes of following this guy around he took me to a spot to set down my new house. I set down my house and walked in. He asked me if he could come in and if I could "repay" him. I laughed and closed the door then said, "Yuck dude, I'm a guy."
The dude went nuts! It was so funny, he started yelling and screaming and cursing at me and was determined to wait til I left the house and then he was going to kill me. I laughed and logged out. Logged on my Grandmaster Archer, back when archer was WAY overpowered, and asked him what he was doing. He told me all this stuff and then some! Apparently I was going to marry him and all this stuff, according to him. I laughed and said, "Yuck dude, I'm a guy..."
Yeah he was dead pretty fast hehe. I told him not to come around these parts anymore. And that is my ONE story as me playing a female character My friends haven't let me live that down to this day. While playing EQ they would mock me and say, "Why don't you just get Yasmyn out and whore yourself for a Fungi?" I can't escape it! I have sworn off EVER EVER EVER using a female character again heh. But c'mon, for a house? Okay, maybe I could haha!
PS - Yeah, I play ONLY guys, there was just that ONE time... :P
Preatty funny story, personally i dont care what sex i play as, though playing as a girl had some....advantages.... when i was playing Lineage 2 bets......heh..heh...heh (man im creepy)
After making a few female avatars, because I would rather stare at her than a dude. I had to quit because losers kept harassing me thinking I was a chick in RL. This was when MMORPGs first came out. Now I know better than to make a honey, I mean female avatar.
Depends. When I get to character creation, I do just that. I create a character. Complete with backstory. Sometimes male, sometimes female, though most often male.
